QUICKLY VIEW MOBILE NETWORK STATUS: From the clock screen, swipe down from the top of the screen.

Plough ON/OFF MOBILE Information Access: From the clock screen, press the Power/Domicile push.
Rotate the bezel to and select the Settings app.

Note: Mobile data is on by default. Turning off the mobile data will not allow whatsoever data to be transferred over the wireless network.
